THE STUDIO
Following her studies with Kim Sacks and Digby Hoets, Caroline has been teaching ceramics since 1997, offering classes for adults and children. In the teaching studio the emphasis is on the maker’s connection with the clay and the enjoyment of the process of forming and fashioning it into a vessel, dear to one’s heart. Through this process, which is essentially intimate, yet also communal in the group setting, we are able to get out of our heads (stress) and into our bodies (living in the now). Children do this naturally, grownups need to assign time and resources to it. Discover the love of clay and the joy of being.
